Not all beach clubs in Bali are suitable for children and you should apply your own judgement when booking any beach club as to whether it’s likely to be suitable for your family.
After all, while many of the best Bali beach clubs do allow children inside to enjoy the sun loungers, delicious food, etc. the truth is that none of these places is a kids club and a kids menu might not be enough when a drunken pool party is taking place nearby.
The beach club environment can be great for children, mind you, and a beach club experience is one of the definitive good times on the island.
So, we’ve done some research for you to ensure you pick the right Bali Beach Club for you and your family and come up with the 17 best family-friendly beach clubs on the island.
The 17 Best Family Friendly Beach Clubs In Bali
1. The Best Family Friendly Beach Club: FINNS Beach Club, The World’s Best Beach Club, Canggu
The world’s best beach club is a big title to live up to but as we’ve made clear in our individual review as well as in all of our ranking tables, we think FINNS does live up to it.
Of all the Bali beach clubs, it’s the one that consistently delivers an amazing experience over and over again.
Sure, they don’t have a dedicated kids club but the infinity pool, great sounds and amazing food make FINNS a wonderful place to spend some time together as a family.
The only thing we would note is that it can get a little raucous after the sun goes down and you might want to take young children home after the fireworks display around 7 p.m.
Address: Jl. Pantai Berawa No.99, Canggu, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia
Online: FINNS
2. The Beach Club Resort: Karma Kandara Beach Club, Karma Beach Bali
Karma Beach Bali is just under the cliffside at Uluwatu and you can only get there through the Karma Kandara Resort.
As you might expect the beds at this beach club are primarily for hotel guests and that can make it an expensive day out.
However, unlike most Bali beach clubs, there is a kids club (Three Monkeys) which makes it very child-friendly indeed and they offer some cultural performances too like fire dance performances.
Adults will find that the onsite spa is a nice touch and you can get a massage as well as icy cold beers and local and imported wines at Karma Beach Bali.
Address: Jl. Villa Kandara, Banjar Wijaya Kusuma, Ungasan, Kec. Kuta Sel., Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80362
Online: Karma
3. Beach Bungalows: Sundays Beach Club, Ungasan
Sundays Beach Club is right down on Bali’s Southernmost tip and that means it’s a bit more effort to get to their sun loungers than other beach clubs in Bali.
However, they are very family-friendly and the entrance fee includes access to their watersports equipment so that kids can go kayaking or paddle boarding while you run up that minimum spend.
One nice touch at Sundays Beach Club is that they have VIP Beach Bungalows, that allow you a private bathroom and shower as well as butler service and more.
Sundays is one of the few beach clubs in Bali, where much of the action takes place directly on the sand rather than just back from the beach.
Address: Jl. Pantai Sel. Gau Banjar Wijaya Kusuma, Ungasan, Kec. Kuta Sel., Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80362

4. Kids Club Included: Sundara Beach Club, Jimbaran
Sundara is very much aimed at families and you will find that not only do they have a kids club, they offer huge daybeds to allow families to spread out while the little ones play.
The beachside infinity pool is very much a beach club standard and the 57-meter offering at Sundara Beach Club is very popular with Instagrammers.
They have a Sunday Brunch offering which allows visitors to use their minimum spend on a buffet that lasts for nearly 6 hours.
One stand-out offering here is the cocktail menu which is designed using fully sustainable ingredients.

5. Children Welcome: Roosterfish Beach Club, Kuta
Roosterfish Beach Club offers delicious food and drinks in a family-friendly environment that’s tailored to deliver a very relaxing beach club experience.
There’s a large children’s play area under the upper deck and a wide open lawn where kids can run about too.
There’s an emphasis on fresh and grilled seafood on the menu and their seafood platters are quite famous in the local community.
They have a foam party on Sundays and children are allowed to take part in this fun at Roosterfish Beach Club.
Address: Jl. Pantai Pandawa, Kutuh, Kec. Kuta Sel., Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361
Online: Roosterfish
6. Creative Village & Workshops: Potato Head Beach Club, Seminyak Beach
We think Potato Head is one of the better beach clubs in Bali and the beach club is part of a much larger village called Desa Potato Head.
The beach club is a nice place for some family time with a reasonable minimum spend requirement and space for children to run around in.
However, kids may prefer the Creative Village there where they can learn about recycling and cool ways to use waste.
Every Sunday, they have a nice workshop for children where they can learn to make kites or boats or something else from natural materials. However, parents must accompany their kids to these workshops.
Address: Petitenget St No.51B, Seminyak, Kuta Utara, Badung Regency, Bali 80361
Online: Desa Potato Head
7. Seriously Family-Friendly: Flamingo Beach Club, Saba Beach
Flamingo Beach Club isn’t one of the big-name beach clubs in Bali but they are very much family-focused.
In fact, they may be the most family-friendly beach club on the island, as they have a pirate playground, a children’s pool, and playhouses for the kids to enjoy.
They also have an in-house pet rabbit that makes the occasional appearance for their children to bond with.
Parents will be happy to know that it’s a low minimum spend to get in and the onsite restaurant serves excellent fresh seafood.
Address: Jl. Pantai Saba, Saba, Kec. Blahbatuh, Kabupaten Gianyar, Bali 80581

8. Reef Beach Club, Nusa Dua
This is one of the swankiest beach clubs on the island as you’d expect at the five-star Apurva Kempinski resort.
Most people use Reef Beach Club when they want a top-notch kids club as well as the usual bars and restaurants.
We were very impressed with their BBQ options and wine lists. But we need to stress that this isn’t a cheap day out.
Address: Jl. Raya Nusa Dua Selatan, Sawangan, Nusa Dua, Kec. Kuta Sel., Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361
Online: Apurva Kempinski
9. Cactus Beach Club, Nusa Penida
If you’re in Nusa Penida then there aren’t that many options for for a child-friendly beach club experience.
Cactus is a very simple place with a small kids’ pool and a playground for them to enjoy while you sip on cold drinks.
The good news is that they have a very low minimum spend requirement. So, you don’t have to spend all day to get your money’s worth.

10. Sometimes Kid-Friendly: Azul Beach Club, Kuta
Azul is a funny beach club for this list. It’s often very focused on adult entertainment and you should phone ahead to see what’s on before you agree to a minimum spend there.
However, during big occasions and holidays, the place becomes much more family-friendly and you will find they have special events for Xmas, Easter, Halloween, etc.
Then, the attractive tree house design and their talented kitchens create a very comfortable place for you and your children to enjoy.
It’s a bit pricey for what it is, but that can be said for many beach clubs in Bali.
Address: Jl. Padma No.2, Legian, Kec. Kuta, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361
Online: Azul
11. Mari Beach Club, Kuta
Mari is one of the smaller Bali beach clubs and it’s in an excellent location on the Indian Ocean.
However, its size means that there’s not a huge amount going on at Mari Beach Club and other than a kiddies’ pool they only really have a weekly dance performance on Thursdays for the little ones.
We thought the food at Mari Beach Club was very tasty but the portions were among the smallest that we’ve ever seen in a Bali beach club.
Address: Jl. Batu Belig No.66, Kerobokan Kelod, Kec. Kuta Utara, Bali, 80361
Online: Mari
12. Hotel Kids Club Bliss: COMO Beach Club, Canggu
COMO Beach Club is the only beach club in the Echo Beach area and it’s really an extension of the hotel rather than a separate facility.
However, it makes our list as a family-friendly beach club in Bali as guests get complimentary access to the hotel’s kids club – Play by COMO.
This means that children from the ages of 4 to 12, can enjoy a space dedicated to fun with books, toys, games, and much more available to keep them entertained.
The venue also has regular cultural performances and they even have some themed parties, where children are welcome to join in.

14. Mrs Sippy, Seminyak Beach
We’re not the biggest fans of Mrs Sippy in Seminyak, we think charging an entrance fee plus a minimum spend is pretty poor practice.
However, if you want a family-friendly pool club in Seminyak, this is the place to go.
The pool is only open to families until 4 p.m. on weekends, though, and pool floaties and toys cannot be brought into the venue, you must use theirs.
The biggest attraction at Mrs Sippy is the 5-meter diving board which makes for a lot of fun.

15. Cocoon Beach Club, Seminyak
This small beach club in Seminyak us all about fine dining and relaxing, but they still manage to deliver top-quality kids’ menus and there are plenty of toys and activities for children too.
In the evenings, it’s best to pop the little ones in bed before enjoying the party atmosphere as the DJs play and the entertainment really hots up.
It’s not one of the most popular family spots in Bali but we were pleasantly surprised at Cocoon Beach Club.
Address: Pantai Double Six, Jl. Arjuna No.66, Seminyak, Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali 80361
Online: Cocoon Beach Club
16. Titi Batu Ubud Club, Ubud
OK, strictly speaking, Titi Batu isn’t a Bali beach club because it’s a long way from the beach.
However, this pool club is very comparable to the other top family-friendly beach clubs in Bali and that’s why it’s on our list.
The jumping bridge is great fun for kids, and they have a playground, bouncy castles, water fights and much more for the little ones.
There’s even a skate park which was designed by Motiona Skatepark Co. with onsite instructors.

17. La Brisa, Canggu
La Brisa is one of the most distinct beach clubs on the island and while it’s not specifically targetted at families, children are welcome.
The nautical theme and open spaces for children to play in mean that your kids shouldn’t be bored when you spend an hour or two here.
They also have a Sunday Market where you can pick up some cool souvenirs and treats from your time here in Bali.

FAQs
Are Kids Allowed At Beach Clubs In Bali?
Children are admitted to most beach clubs in Bali. However, we should note that doesn’t mean that children will have full access to all the facilities in any given beach club.
While Bali culture is very child-friendly, a beach club is often a place for people to drink and party and things like swim-up bars or a foam party aren’t really made for “family fun”.
That’s why it’s important for you to do your own research regarding a beach club before you commit to a minimum spend at any given beach club.
Bali has many beautiful beaches and you can enjoy the Bali sun in a family-friendly environment that suits your needs as long as you take your time and choose a beach club based on the latest information.

Yes. Children are allowed into FINNS Beach Club, the world’s best beach club. However, beach club guests at FINNS should be aware that the club has some restrictions on where children can go.
This is to ensure the safety of both children and other guests. We’d recommend that you visit beach clubs during the day with children and then see how hectic things get later on before deciding whether you want to stay or not.
FINNS is an amazing destination and we love spending time at the swim-up bar in the infinity pool there but it definitely gets a bit lively at night.
Are Kids Allowed At Potato Head Beach Club?

What Beach Is Most Kid-Friendly In Bali?
It’s probably a toss-up between Nusa Dua Beach and Sanur Beach. These are the two most popular beaches in Bali for a family holiday.
Nusa Dua Beach has soft white sand and the beach is lined with high-end international brand-name hotels.
Sanur, on the other hand, isn’t quite so upmarket but the beach has a fabulous boardwalk and the sea is perfect for swimming as there is very little current, so little ones can learn to swim easily there.
