Why FINNS Beach Club Should Be On Your Bali Bucket List

We love beach clubs, that’s why we built our site, but there’s one beach club that we think stands head and shoulders above them all on the Island of the Gods.

Standing proudly on Berawa Beach covering 170 meters of prime beachfront, is FINNS Beach Club, the world’s best beach club. A reputation that it has built for itself and earned from it’s extraordinary efforts to delight its guests.

If you’re looking for an experience that can’t be matched anywhere else in Bali and probably in the entire world, then FINNS Beach Club has to be somewhere that you think about visiting in Bali.

Whether you’re flying solo, a couple enjoying a romantic break, or a group of friends seeking out the ultimate in fun – FINNS Beach Club deserves a spot on your Bali Bucket List and here’s why.

A Beachfront Paradise With The Best View In Bali

The first thing that springs to mind when we think about FINNS Beach Club is the breathtaking location. It sits atop Berawa Beach, one of Bali’s glorious black volcanic sand beaches and provides panoramic views out over the Indian Ocean.

The best time of day is sunset, when the sky lights up with hues of red, gold, amber, pink and purple and the light glistens off the wet sand below. It’s something that can’t be matched on white sand beach.

The open-air layout of FINNS with its truly iconic bamboo structure means that every guest at FINNS has a front-row seat to the ultimate sunset. Whether they’re kicking back on a day bed, enjoying a cocktail in the infinity pool or dancing to the DJs, the ocean backdrop is ever present and it elevates the whole experience.

Berawa Beach is also a big draw for surfers and you can enjoy watching beginners and seasoned board riders alike on the water here.

The club provides beach access to its guests and you can pass through security (get your hand stamped) and enjoy a stroll along the sand, before returning to the comfort of your daybed.

An Extraordinary Atmosphere With World-Class Entertainment

There is no beach club on Earth that is as synonymous with non-stop entertainment as FINNS Beach Club. From the moment it throws open its doors at 11 a.m. and all the way through to midnight (every day of the year, except for the Balinese Day of Silence, Nyepii) the club is a hub of positive energy.

There are daily DJ sets, live vocalists and entertainment performances all day long. From top 40 hits to EDM and classic beach club vibes, there’s something for everyone at FINNS.

The music creates an infectious groove that draws 1 in 4 international visitors to Bali through the club’s doors and many of those visitors come back time and time again on their holiday.

FINNS is also no stranger to amazing events and their New Year’s Eve party is the stuff of legends. With acts like Fat Boy Slim and Flume headling in previous years, we’re very excited to find out who the headliner will be in 2025.

And FINNS isn’t resting on its laurels in this respect, their new Empire Club is opening in 2026 and will add further ways to party and enjoy an amazing time by the beach.

The beach club is also cleverly laid out so that you can choose an area that caters best to your preferences from the Beach Party area which is all about the party, to the VIP Beach Club area that is more luxurious and offers additional services.

They know how to have a good time at FINNS and that begins with entertainment that ensures you are never bored and you’re always curious to see what will come next.

Culinary Delights From Around The World To Suit Every Palate

The beach club is also something of a foodie’s paradise and while it’s not quite a fine dining experience there are several restaurants to choose from and they are served by multiple international kitchens.

You can enjoy everything from Balinese to Italian, from Mexican to Indian and much more. The food is always prepared fresh with love and care from local ingredients wherever possible.

And that’s not all, you can always pair every dish with FINNS extensive menu of handcrafted cocktails, luxurious wines and cold beers. There’s a drink for everyone and for the non-alcoholic consumers, they make an amazing mocktail.

Watch out for the happy hours and promos which can help you get even more value out of the day – buckets, jugs and 2-for-1 specials are very common. They also hand out thousands of free shots every month, so watch out for the waitresses coming round with those!

FINNS is ideal for engagement parties, birthdays, etc. too because the venue is used to catering for large groups of people without compromising on the quality of the dishes they serve.

Luxurious Facilities And Comfortable Seating

FINNS stands out from the crowd thanks to the huge range of facilities available to its guests too. There are three awesome pools, more bars than you can shake a stick out and some fabulous seating options.

We should note that FINNS, unlike so many other beach clubs in Bali, does not have an entrance fee or a minimum spend if you want a seat in the bar and restaurant areas.

However, if you want one of the more luxurious seats such as a daybed, the entrance is still free, but you will be expected to agree to a very reasonable minimum spend.

The venue also offers packages such as its new Limousine service which includes drinks, rides to and from the beach club to where you’re staying, priority entry and a host of other benefits.

If you’re coming as a large group, if you book the Party Platform, you can get some drinks included to start your party with a bang.

Over in the VIP section, your minimum spend is a little higher but you get a host of perks for that.

We’d also note that FINNS now offers a cool priority pass for the beach club. If you book in advance and pay a 300,000 IDR deposit for any seat – you will get a free welcome drink and free locker rental and the deposit can be used against any bill that you run up. That works out at about 560,000 IDR of value for walk-in customers. You can’t argue with that.

Social Media Stardom With Global Recognition

FINNS is a smash hit on social media. There’s nothing quite like partying in a place that all the celebrities and influencers want in on, is there?

Many influencers state that FINNS is Bali’s Best Beach Club and they always mention how far the club is willing to go to exceed people’s expectations.

The beach club has also won plenty of awards with the most recent being Best Beach Club in Bali from Honeycombers in 2024. The club also has thousands of positive reviews on Google Reviews and on TripAdvisor.

The social proof that FINNS is the world’s best beach club is staggering. There’s no other brand that comes close to it in Bali.

Community And Sustainability Efforts

It’s worth noting that FINNS also benefits the local community and is fully committed to supporting the environment and other socially beneficial work.

The beach club employs roughly 2,000 Indonesian staff of which around 1,800 are local Balinese people. It fosters an environment where everyone can find their niche and where there are real opportunities for personal development and career growth.

FINNS works with local community ambassadors to ensure that its activities are harmonious with the ideals of the Balinese people.

It is committed to a near zero waste policy in the beach club and by the end of 2025, less than 5% of the beach club’s waste will go to landfill!

FINNS is also very involved in keeping Berawa Beach beautiful and in addition to a permanent team of beach cleaning staff, they have invested in a beach cleaning robot to dig down deeper and keep the beach even cleaner!

Currently, we believe that FINNS is one of the most sustainable tourism businesses in Bali and that it’s working hard to become the most sustainable of them all.

Some Practical Tips For Visiting FINNS Beach Club

If you want your bucket list experience at FINNS to be perfect we recommend:

  • Staying locally – Bali traffic can be pretty bad. The best way to have a relaxing start to the day is to get a place in Canggu for a few nights.
  • Booking in advance – yes, the club accepts walk-ins but if you want a nice comfy daybed (and you do), you should book it before you come. Not only do you get the best prices that way but you’re ensuring that your seat is reserved. FINNS often sells out and if you don’t reserve a nice spot, there’s no guarantee that you will get one.
  • Dress to impress but keep it casual – FINNS is a beachside party venue, you don’t need to go all out and in the day, swimming gear is perfect. But as the evening progresses, it’s nice to have a little chic something to fall back on.

FAQS

Do You Have To Pay To Get Into FINNS Beach Club?

No, you don’t have to pay to get into FINNS Beach Club. In keeping with their philosophy of being the best beach club, they want their guests to be able to come into the venue and see what it’s like without being put off by a door fee.

Seats in the bars and restaurants also don’t have an associated minimum spend, so there’s no secret “entrance fee by the back door” as there is at some other beach clubs in Bali.

Is There A Minimum Spend At FINNS Beach Club?

No, there is no minimum spend at FINNS Beach Club if you want to sit in their bar or restaurant areas.

We would note that if you want to enjoy a premium package – they offer a 300,000 IDR beat the queue deal online, which gives you a free welcome drink (an Aperol Spritz) as well as free locker hire and then you can spend the 300,000 IDR on food and drinks. This is, by far, the best deal on bar and restaurant seats but must be booked in advance online.

If you want to sit on a daybed by the pool, there is a minimum spend but the minimum spend at FINNS is very reasonable and usually works out a bit less per person than you would actually spend in a day there.

Is FINNS Beach Club Expensive?

No, FINNS Beach Club is not expensive. In fact, when compared to other beach clubs in Bali, FINNS is probably the best value for money.

There are cheaper beach clubs, but these are usually in remote locations, or lack in facilities, entertainment or both.

And there are many more expensive beach clubs that simply don’t deliver on an equivalent experience.

A day at FINNS Beach Club costs less than a night out in most Western cities and you’ll enjoy amazing food, drinks and all day long entertainment for that.

Is There A Dress Code At FINNS Beach Club?

There is a slight dress code at FINNS. You’re expected to wear swimwear in the pool (and you can’t use the pool without swimwear). You can’t have any facial tattoos or head or neck tattoos.

And you’re expected to wear something a little dressy in the restaurants after 6 p.m. but this isn’t too onerous.

Is FINNS Beach Club Suitable For Families?

No, FINNS Beach Club is not suitable for families. As of May 1st, 2025 – FINNS Beach Club is an adults-only venue.

Only individuals aged 16 or over will be allowed to enter the beach club. This is to reflect the fact that it’s a party destination and some of the behaviour inside the venue might not be ideal for little eyes.

Final Thoughts On Why FINNS Is An Unmissable Stop In Bali

FINNS is the beach club that has it all. Amazing views, incredible entertainment, excellent service, top notch food and drinks and an attitude of constant improvement where good is never good enough.

There’s nowhere quite like it anywhere else on Earth and there’s a reason that 1 in 4 international visitors to Bali stop by FINNS during the Bali holiday – it’s the world’s best beach club and for that, it should be on your bucket list.
