Friends Bar (The Finns Beach Club After Party)
Not only will FINNS Beach Club have the best New Year’s Eve Party, it will also have the best after-party to see in the New Year in style.
This after-party is open to everyone who wants to come and there’s no entrance fee, but if you’ve been to the FINNS New Year’s Eve Party, you get a free shot with your first purchase.
It’s a short walk around the corner from the beach club and this is good news as taxis at this time of night on New Year’s Eve/Day are hard to come by.
Friends is also well prepared for a large crowd and is transforming the area around the bar in cooperation with the other businesses there, into a block party!

Potato Head Desa NYE 2024 – Overmono
Potato Head will be stepping up its usual laid-back vibe and going with a lineup of both local and international talent on the decks.
Overmono will be laying down a heavy techno set to end the night, Baba Slitz is expected to shake things up a bit with his usual eclectic approach and Carista will be making her first appearance at Potato Head too.
Others present will include Gero, Marvel and Imen. The half-price tickets are sold out, though and getting into the Potato Head debut of this lineup is a bit more expensive than it once was.

We made no bones about it that we found Sundays a bit too expensive for what it is when we visited during our reviewing phase.
However, they do have a free-flow drinks option for New Year which might make things a bit more bearable on your wallet.
You have to wear white for this and put on a mask, mind you. In exchange, you can enjoy beach bonfires, fireworks and even a water drum performance.

Savaya NYE Sunset To Sunrise Party – Black Coffee
Savaya is going all out for the New Year, to try and justify the high cost per person of entry no doubt. Their New Year’s Eve tickets are all sold out, mind you but they have promised another round of tickets to be released prior to the day.
They’re all about the DJ party and they have a week of non-stop special guests from around the world including Black Coffee on the night itself.
Savaya is one of the few beach clubs that will be open until sunrise on New Year’s Day!

Atlas – Akon NYE 2024
You’d think that the A-list star Akon would have caused a run on tickets at Atlas, but it seems that even this superstar can’t bring in the bodies, just yet.
Entry to the beach club also gets you entry to the Atlas Super Club to see Whisnu Santika who recently played Tomorrowland.
You should be able to get tickets for this live music event until very close to New Year’s Eve, Atlas doesn’t normally sell out until after FINNS has announced that there are no more tickets available.

Woobar (and W Bali) – Hip Hop Stage
This Seminyak Beach Resort has live music events going on throughout the compound including in the Woobar (the beach club part of the W Bali) which will host their hip hop stage.
The main stage is going to be more deep house than swing dance mind you. Artists appearing on the night will include Ferreck Dawn, Jeremy Jay and more. There will also be dazzling fireworks.
One nice touch with Woobar is that the entrance fee does include a small amount of food and beverage credit, but that won’t last long given how expensive things are at this place and the length of time from when doors open until midnight.

The New Year’s Eve Epicurean Dinner at Azul sounds quite promising. You can enjoy a five-course menu with live music and the option for a fairly priced wine pairing menu.
However, the actual countdown will take place at the Sandy Beach Pool at the Bali Mandira Resort and guests will be escorted between the two locations at around 10 p.m. This is one of the few parties where children are welcome and their New Year’s Eve dinner will be half-price.

Old Man’s Dirty Ol’ NYE – Lalu, Point 85, Dan Cook and Blucks
Old Man’s is more of a club than a beach club and this beach bar gets very busy on New Year’s Eve. You can’t book in advance and they don’t take reservations.
So, if you want a seat, you’ll want to get there early and reserve it by sitting on it. The drinks will be the usual reasonably priced fare but you do need to buy a ticket to get in (sold in advance on their website) for NYE.

Cafe Del Mar has a pair of international DJs laying down the beats for the evening and you should be able to get tickets for their event reasonably easily.
There’s no beach access at this club, though, so don’t expect to spend the countdown with your feet in the sand, you’ll have to leave Cafe Del Mar (and you won’t be allowed back in) to do that.

FINNS Beach Club holds the best New Year’s Eve Countdown Party on the island. While it is often sold out months in advance, FINNS has a very clever marketplace where you can buy tickets (at fair market prices – no scalpers) from people who can’t use theirs.
This stops you from having to over pay for these highly desirable NYE Party Tickets and that you will actually be allowed into the venue on the day.
We strongly advise against buying tickets for any NYE Party outside of the beach club’s official channels.
Indonesia is infamous for chancers selling fake tickets and if you arrive at a venue without a legitimate ticket on NYE, you’re going to be turned away – the venues need to carefully monitor how many people are inside waiting for the moment that the clock strikes midnight for safety’s sake.
