FAQs
When Should I Go To FINNS Beach Club Bali?
FINNS Beach Club is a great place to spend time in on any relaxing getaway in Bali. It’s open 364 days a year (as with everywhere else on the island it’s closed for the Balinese holy day of Nyepi).
They open at 11 a.m. and then close at midnight and it’s always fun. There’s no bad time or day to spend time at the beach club.
If you get there early in the day, you can enjoy spending time by the pool, enjoying stunning views over the Indian Ocean and the beach.
Turn up at lunchtime and you can enjoy an amazing lunch in one of their beachfront restaurants.
In the afternoon, the pace starts to pick up and you can enjoy the company of new friends in the pool areas, before the sunset arrives and really lights up the world.
There are DJs and vocalists all day long to ensure the music is awesome and once the evening comes, the party starts in earnest.
1 in 8 people who come to Bali, come to FINNS. It’s not really a visit to Bali if you’ve not spent, at least, a little time in the world’s best beach club.
Can You Just Walk In To FINNS Beach Club?
Yes, FINNS Beach Club welcomes walk-in guests and as long as there is room inside the beach club, you will be allowed in.
There is no entrance fee and if you want to sit at the bar or in one of their amazing restaurants, you won’t have to agree to a minimum spend, either.
However, if you want a seat on a comfortable day bed by the pool, we strongly recommend that you book in advance.
FINNS is the most popular place on the island and you’re going to find that their day beds are often booked a long way in advance.
There is a minimum spend to use a day bed (that means you agree to buy a certain amount of food, drink and/or tobacco products) but there’s no charge for the bed itself.
It’s a great deal given that other beach clubs often levy both an entrance fee and a minimum spend even for the most basic of seating.
We think it’s awesome that everyone can go and check out FINNS on Berawa Beach for free and decide if they like the vibe, before settling in for a few drinks and an amazing time.
Who Are The Owners Of FINNS Beach Club?
FINNS Beach Club is a publicly traded company, which means that is owned by a consortium of shareholders.
However, the two largest shareholders are Tony Smith, an Australian national who used to play professional football, and I Ketut Subina a Balinese/Indonesian national.
They have been friends and business partners for nearly 2 decades and have worked together on a variety of projects such as Bali Res Centre, FINNS Recreation Club, and more.
FINNS currently employs over 2,000 staff on the island and the vast majority of its workforce consists of local Balinese people and Indonesian nationals.
What Is The Closest Airport To FINNS Beach Club?
There is only one airport on the island of Bali and that’s Denpasar Airport or Ngurah Rai International Airport. That means airport transfers aren’t essential if you’re going to stay near FINNS.
The nearest airport is only a short drive away and even in the worst of Bali traffic, it won’t take more than 30-40 minutes to have you in your hotel in ride-share (Grab and Gojek are Bali’s answer to Uber and Lyft).
Do You Have To Stay Near FINNS Beach Club To Enjoy FINNS Beach Club?
No! You don’t have to stay near FINNS Beach Club to spend time there and enjoy yourself. You won’t be asked where you’re staying when you enter FINNS (even when the new FINNS Bali Resort opens). Everyone is welcome inside.
The advantage to staying nearby is that you will be able to get home more easily after your time in the club if your accommodation is within walking distance.
Final Thoughts On Where To Stay Near FINNS Beach Club

You can be certain of a place with modern amenities, a private bathroom, a decent outdoor swimming pool, and much more when you book a hotel in Canggu.
And if you want to push the boat out, you can stay in a luxury villa complex with private balconies, pool views, butler service and more. It’s the perfect place to find the ideal accommodation for you, your friends and your family!
