Thinking of heading to Bali for New Year’s Eve in 2025 in order to see in 2026? Then, you’re going to want to know where the big party spots are on the island and whether you can score some early bird tickets to the best NYE Party before it sells out.
That’s why we put this guide to the best New Year’s Eve party options together. Whether you’re in Nusa Dua, Kuta Beach, Canggu, Ubud or somewhere completely different, there are bound to be some countdown parties going on near you.
And here are the very best New Year’s Eve offerings in Bali for 2025.
Our Top Spots For Countdown Parties On New Year’s Eve In Bali
FINNS Beach Club

FINNS Beach Club has the most legendary NYE Party in Bali. It’s a daytime into night party, and FINNS NYE Party blends tropical island vibes on Berawa Beach with top DJs. In previous years, they’ve had artists like Fat Boy Slim, Flume, Peking Duck and Martin Solveig.
This year, Duke Dumont was revealed to early bird ticket buyers, and there are more artists to come. That promises an unforgettable New Year’s Eve of live music for those lucky enough to get tickets to celebrate NYE at FINNS.
However, this is one of the only NYE Events in Bali that sells out in advance. So, if you want to enjoy a good time at FINNS Beach Club this year, you need to plan ahead, because even general admission tickets will run out. There’s no hope of picking up a ticket on the day.
They aim to deliver the world’s best party experience every single day at FINNS Beach Club, and we can’t imagine spending New Year’s Eve in Bali anywhere else. Our tickets have been booked since the event for this year was announced.
Address: Jl. Pantai Berawa No.99, Canggu, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia

Friends Bar (The FINNS Beach Club After Party Venue)
One thing you’ll notice in Bali is that the New Year’s Eve celebration often ends just after midnight.
Of course, this has a lot to do with the fact that people who live near the clubs, pubs, etc., need to get some sleep at some point.
However, Friends Bar is different, and you can enjoy drinks there once every NYE Party has come to an end and all the NYE dinners have been eaten.
Their New Year’s Eve party kicks off in the early evening, and it runs until the majority of partygoers are ready to go home.
It’s also within a short walking distance of FINNS Beach Club, Atlas, and Cafe Del Mar so you won’t need to get a taxi or a ride-share (super challenging on New Year’s Eve in Bali), and it serves as the unofficial after-party for the beach club.

Azul Beach Club X Bali Mandira

If you can’t get into FINNS Beach Club, you might take a look at Azul Beach Club, which is going for more of a dinner vibe than the big party.
Their gourmet dinner guests will enjoy a 5-course dinner by the Indian Ocean. Then, they can move on to the Sandy Beach Pool Countdown Party for the rest of the evening. Guests at Bali Mandira enjoy free entry to the Countdown Party even if they haven’t been to the dinner.
It promises to be one of the big events on Legian Beach this year. Though we would stress that it’s important to stay away from the stray dogs near this beach club, they have been known to carry the rabies virus.

Potato Head Beach Club

Potato Head is famous for its chilled-out and laid-back vibe, but there’s a bit more groove to things before the clock strikes midnight on New Year’s Eve, usually.
However, we can’t report very much on this subject as we go to press, as while the club has announced it’s offering presale tickets for their New Year’s Eve experience, it hasn’t yet announced a headlining artist.
Given that the live entertainment is often the most important thing for people visiting Bali for New Year’s Eve, we suspect this NYE Party won’t sell out until very close to the big day.
The club has, however, mentioned this will be part of its FULL CIRCLE program for the two weeks around Xmas and confirmed that Shanti Celeste and Saoirse will feature on the bill along with their resident DJs DITA and GERO.

Ku De Ta Beach Club

It is the oldest beach club in Bali and is famous for its beach parties that go all night long. However, iKu De Ta has not announced anything for New Year’s Eve so far.
In fact, they aren’t even soliciting bookings, and that means we can’t even guarantee that there will be an exciting time to be had at this club in Seminyak Beach, this year.
We think it’s likely that their NYE events will continue. Mind you, but until there are more details, we just can’t guarantee it.

Savaya Bali

We’re not huge fans of Savaya; it’s terribly overpriced for what it is, and it’s in a remote corner of the island, which is super inconvenient, particularly on New Year’s Eve.
However, they will have a New Year’s Event this year, and it will feature Jamie Jones & Bedouin.
As with most events in Bali, this is a ticket holder’s event only, so make sure to buy a ticket if you want to see the party start.

Woobar Bali @ W Bali
Last year, the W Bali had their resident DJs and some international artists playing as well as a hip hop stage pumping out some serious hip hop hits.
This year, it’s going to be their usual resident DJs and David Penn, the Spanish house music DJ under the banner of “Made the List”.
Woobar Bali and the W Lounge are an expensive night out, and you can be sure that their social media will be really promoting what’s going on (including at the W Lounge) very soon.
One thing’s for certain, they will have fireworks over the main stage by the end of the evening, as that’s their big crowd-pleasing finishing act, most years.

Copper Kitchen @ Bisma 8

This upmarket restaurant on the roof of the Bisma 8 hotel in Ubud is going with a “smoke & char” celebration, which we think is probably a posh term for “BBQ”.
They will have plenty to eat and drink, and we suspect it will be very good given this restaurant’s excellent reputation.
They’ll also have DJ Nano on the deck from 10 p.m. onwards, laying down his signature electronic beats into the New Year.
Food here is provided on a free-flow buffet basis, and we’ve no doubt that you’ll enter 2026 feeling stuffed and happy if you choose to eat at Copper Kitchen for New Year’s Eve.
You can probably even see the fireworks all over Ubud, as you will have a nice view from above the town.

Tropical Temptation

Tropical Temptation has announced an “Awakened Dreamers” event for this New Year, and this includes a 3-hour “ritual frequencies” ecstatic dance set.
We don’t really know what that means, but it follows an Ethnic House DJ set, which follows a Dreamy House set, and before that, there’s an Afro Sunset DJ Set. So, there will be music.
The dress code is “Boho Chic”, which they say means flowing, elegant and luminous. This is said to umm… “embody opulence infused with spirit, creativity anchored in freedom, and presence adorned with style.” Which seems a bit much for a party, but fair enough.
We’re told the alcohol-free herbal drinks that will be on sale will boost your system and elevate your vibe, too.

Akasa Jumeria Bali

Akasa is a restaurant within the posh Jumeria resort (owned by the Dubai-based Jumeria consortium), and they have confirmed that they will be hosting a dinner for the New Year.
There will be a sunset DJ, dance performance, live band and then a midnight DJ to see the countdown in.
There is a set fee for a set menu that night, but if you want to buy drinks, they are not included in the package and will be available separately.
We should also note that you are expected to dress up for this event; it’s most definitely not the venue for beach casual wear.

Midaz Bali

This upscale restaurant near Petitenget Beach in Seminyak has confirmed that it will be hosting a New Year event this year, but the details are still a bit hazy.
Last year, they had live music and several DJs along with an exclusive dinner package and their own unique creative energy.
They are already accepting reservations for the night; they aren’t selling general admission tickets or anything similar, so it should be a simple question of calling the hotel and booking a slot.
The only thing missing here is some cultural performances and oddly, there don’t seem to be any of those even at the restaurants for this New Year.

La Brisa

This beach club has announced a New Year’s Eve event, but rather like many other clubs, they’re playing their cards very close to their chest when it comes to the details.
They promise international and local DJs, a countdown of some kind including fireworks, and cocktails and bites.
If you feel like gambling on a good night out without knowing the lineup (possibly even until the doors open), then maybe La Brisa is the place for you?
We’d wait on this or just book FINNS Nye Party, where you already know they’ve brought in a big name for the night.
Address: La Brisa, Jl. Pantai Batu Mejan, Canggu, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia

Atlas Beach Club
We were in two minds about including Atlas in this roundup. While they have announced their New Year’s Eve artist – Swae Lee (and we don’t think you’ll be alone if you just mouthed, “who?”), this beach club has not had the best of years.
The quality of food and drinks has slipped, many of their events have been significantly underattended, with some being completely empty, and even their big K-Pop event had to give away tickets for the second day as nobody bought any.
The furniture is in poor condition, and they’ve even started serving Indomie Noodles! Yes, the noodles you can buy for less than a buck in Circle K or M Mart on your way home, those noodles.
But you can’t say you weren’t warned if you do decide to head to Atlas to see in the New Year.

Tips For New Year’s Eve In Bali
We’ve also got some tips to help ensure that you have a great time on New Year’s Eve, no matter which NYE party you choose:
- Book in advance – this applies not just to the beach club or NYE dinner that you’re going to, but also to flight tickets and hotel rooms. This is the most popular night in Bali, and if you don’t get reservations in early, you risk being disappointed. Places like FINNS Beach Club are sold long before New Year’s Eve; you can’t just rock up and buy a ticket. BUT we would very recommend that you don’t book until an artist is announced. Gambling on a decent headliner is not a good use of your money, and they can vary dramatically from year to year. Black Coffee (last year’s headliner at Savaya) is very different to this year’s, for example.
- Plan your transport – the traffic on NYE is hectic and late in the evening, you may find there are no ride-shares or taxis, and if you do manage to find one, they’re likely to charge a small fortune for a ride. It’s best to stay within a short walk of your chosen venue if you can.
- Pack essentials – it’s a good idea to bring some comfortable clothing and some cash, as not everywhere in Bali accepts cards, and searching out an ATM can be frustrating on New Year’s Eve, as many will be completely empty due to the volumes of people using them.
- Check the dress code – many venues have some sort of dress code requirement, and you may not be allowed in if you’re not dressed appropriately.
- Arrive early – if you want to get the best spot inside a venue, it can help to rock up before the main crowd does.
- Stay hydrated – alcohol hits harder in the tropics thanks to the heat and humidity, try to alternate drinks with water or cola.
- Watch your drinks – stick to reputable big-name clubs, don’t accept drinks from strangers, and do keep an eye on your drink at all times. Drink spiking is not common in Bali, but why risk it?
- Watch your belongings – if there’s a locker, use it. If not, make sure you keep your bag near you and in a safe way to avoid street-side snatching or pickpocketing in crowds.
- Keep an eye out for fireworks – mainly fireworks are organised affairs in Bali, but occasionally somebody will try and set one off in a crowded spot. If that’s the case where you are, make sure you have a safe distance between you and the firework.
- Give yourself some time to recover – a very light itinerary is always best on New Year’s Day if you’re going to party all night long.
- Think about brunch – if you’ve gorged on one of the big NYE dinners, you may not fancy this, but if your New Year’s Eve party was mainly alcohol fuelled, a brunch can be a great way to get your head back in shape.
Final Thoughts On New Year’s Eve In Bali In 2025/2026
If you want the perfect atmosphere, great food and awesome international artists, we strongly recommend that you book FINNS Beach Club for New Year’s.
The club is one of the very few that already has its first acts announced, the tickets are already on sale, and they’re awesome value for money.
We’d also recommend that if possible, you stay within walking distance of your chosen venue, as if you can walk home, it will be way better than waiting for a ride share or a taxi.
This is the busiest night of the year in Bali’s nightlife scene, and if you ignore this one of our travel tips, you may spend as much time waiting for a ride as you do partying. It’s best not to spend the early hours of New Year’s Day standing on a roadside in Bali.
