Klive Beach Club: New And Fresh
It’s not the most party-focused beach club in the area, but we think it’s one of the best.
We recently revisited Klive as it’s been open for a while now, and the teething problems are, mainly, over.
This is an attractive spot with multiple levels and a lovely view of the Indian Ocean. Agree to a minimum spend, jump in the infinity pool and enjoy half-price cocktails at happy hour. You can’t go wrong, really.

Oneighty: Influencers And Infinity Pools
Oneighty has a stunning pool which sits on the cliff top (and brings this place its nickname of “The Edge Bali” with a glass bottom.
The day beds here are full of young travelers and influencers, and that can be a bit annoying at times, particularly if you just want to relax and enjoy the view.
However, there’s no doubt that sipping cocktails at the VIP tables can make you feel special, too.

Single Fin Bali: Suluban Beach Sunset
Single Fin is one of the most well-known bars and beach clubs in this area, and they have live DJs almost every day.
Single Fin Sunday sessions are famous for their raucous nature, and there’s no doubt that if you’re near Suluban Beach and want to rave hard, this is the place to be.
The food and drinks are a bit pricey, though, and it can get very packed in the early evenings.

Tropical Temptation is a place with lofty ambitions for bottle service, signature cocktails, and the like.
The trouble is that the high minimum spend, entrance fee, etc., don’t spell out “value for money”.
You can have a good time at this place, but it’s going to be an expensive time.

Savaya Bali: A Heaving Dance Floor Some Of The Time
Savaya’s only saving grace in our book is that it regularly hosts international DJs and top local talent.
Without the live music, this beach club would be one of the worst value venues on the island.
As is, you still need to be careful with which events you attend; some are so packed it’s impossible to move, and others are so empty that the dance floor is no fun at all.

An Alternative: Drive To Canggu And Go To FINNS Beach Club
While the Bali traffic makes this into a longer drive than it needs to be, we’d be remiss if we didn’t point out that the world’s best beach club is just up the road from Uluwatu in Canggu.
FINNS is the ultimate party destination in Bali, and it’s much better value for money than most beach clubs in Uluwatu.
If you love a laid-back party vibe where everyone has an amazing time every day, go to FINNS, you won’t regret it.

Rock Bar @ Ayana Resort: Seriously Upscale
One of the best bars on the island to witness the Bali sunset from is Rock Bar at the Ayana Resort.
It’s named after the rock formation on the beach here and not for the kind of music that it plays (more deep house beats than rock, in fact).
Food and drinks here are expensive, but there’s no doubt that the view and the ocean breeze may be worth paying for if you’re in the mood for something special.

Unique Rooftop Bar @ Rimba Jimbaran: When Upscale Goes To The Roof
Rimba is a resort within a resort, and it’s the most exclusive part of the AYANA Bali complex.
However, this bar is open to the general public, and it has some of the best 360-degree views of the green, verdant hills of Uluwatu that it’s possible to find.
There’s a decent pool here that you can cool off in and an excellent cocktail menu. But this is AYANA, it’s super pricey too.

The View @ La Joya Biu Biu: Pools, Pools And More Pools
This upscale bar doesn’t have just one pool. It does have a little tub that you can use to create some cool Instagram moments at sunset.
Be warned that at some times during the year, they may levy an entrance fee, though some of that entry fee is credited towards your food and drinks.
There are also layered infinity pools at this place and some funky cave-like pools with their own river running between them!

This swanky cocktail bar and “supper club” is all about that cool dude vibe, and you’re going to really enjoy just being here.
We like that if you get there early in the evening, you can enjoy some awesome food and then kick back and wait for the place to turn into a dance floor with amazing tunes.

The Bench Brewery Uluwatu: Craft Beer Time
Uluwatu’s craft beer scene is pretty new (to be fair, so is most of Bali’s craft beer scene), but The Bench is the big addition.
Hit up their happy hours Monday-Friday from 3-5 p.m. and you’ll get some seriously cheap beers.
There’s a second happy hour on Friday for cheap cocktail,s too! You can’t say fairer than that, particularly if you’ve had as much to drink as we did the last time we went to The Bench.

High Tide Bar Uluwatu: Live Music And Cocktails
We love a place that does buy one, get one free cocktails from 10 in the morning to 9 at night. You really can’t ask for much more than that.
And it’s a bar, there’s no minimum spend, so you can enjoy drinking right up until the moment you’ve had enough without breaking your budget.
This is a very friendly place, and there’s always dancing and often a game of pool to be had too. Monday night is their 8-ball challenge, which is loads of fun.

White Rabbit Cocktail Bar: Premium Ingredients And Prices
White Rabbit is an amazing cocktail bar that will look fantastic in your Instagram feed, and it has a wonderful rooftop bar section where you can enjoy some lovely views of the area.
The wait staff are among the friendliest people in Bali and they really know their cocktails. You will never have a bad drink here.
The only downside is that it’s pretty pricey and you can easily blow a big chunk of your holiday budget at White Rabbit.

Cliff Bar @ Six Senses Uluwatu: Luxury Wellness And Cocktails
Six Senses is a luxury wellness resort perched right on the Southern Edge of the Bukit Peninsula. It’s not far from the Alila Villas (though you can’t walk between the two and there’s no easy driving route).
There’s no doubt that this bar, which is on a clifftop with an amazing view over the ocean, is a great place to spend an evening.
The cocktails are all expertly curated by mixologists who really know their stuff, and the food is fresh and tasty. We recommend working your way through the seafood offerings, which make the very best use of the local catch of the day.

Jack Bar: A Real Balinese Bar
You’ll find Jack Bar a long way from the usual suspects in Uluwatu, in a residential area that rarely sees many tourists.
However, it’s worth the trip, because this is an authentic Balinese bar. It’s a simple layout, and the focus is on warm welcomes and cocktails that are expertly crafted by the man, Jack, himself.
Just be warned, the drinks at Jack Bar are very strong indeed, and you don’t want to drive yourself. Make sure to book a Grab and enjoy the fun to the fullest.

Alila Villas is a very desirable residence for holidaymakers in Bali, and the view from the cliffs, combined with the exquisite architecture of the resort, will be wonderful in your vacation snaps album.
The collection of cocktails here is elevated and exciting and extremely expensive. You don’t go to Sunset Cabana Bar for a casual drink; you go to impress a date or to seal a deal.
It’s not quite a beach club for the A-list but it is a beach bar with a distinct identity.

The Best (And Only) Nightclub In Uluwatu
Hatch Uluwatu
Hatch is a funny place. It’s a bit of a hidden gem. It’s part nightclub in that it plays lots of house music.
It’s also a bar and restaurant with board games, foosball, beer pong, pool tables, etc., that you can use when the dance floor isn’t in full flow.
It is a 100% inclusive club, and everyone is welcome to spend time there and to do whatever works for them within the confines of what’s on offer.

Final Thoughts On Uluwatu Nightlife
Uluwatu may not have as mature a nightlife scene as places like Canggu and Seminyak, but it’s still a lot of fun.
The big sticking point is that none of these places are particularly close together, you can’t really do a bar crawl in Uluwatu, you pick a place and then stay with it all night long, and if you do? You can have a great night out.
