1. Ku De Ta
Ku De Ta is Bali’s oldest beach club. While it’s not the best on the island, it’s still very good, and it’s a great place for watching the sun set over Seminyak Beach.
Get there in the afternoon, and then stay for the evening. We’d recommend getting a seat on the 2nd floor and enjoying the sunset views from there.
It’s a fun night out and there’s plenty of space to have a dance when the DJs hit the decks.

2. Alila Beach Bar
This elegant beach club isn’t a place to party, but it’s a great place for some drinks with friends.
It’s quite an upscale spot, and yet, it has a very reasonable minimum spend, which you can easily get through with a couple of cocktails.
One thing we like about this corner of the world is how much variety there is at the top spots, and they have a live band rather than a DJ.

3. Woobar
This is an expensive spot on the Seminyak nightlife scene, but if you’re in the mood for stylish cocktails and complimentary canapes, this could be your idea of fun.
They have regular DJs and special events, and if it’s busy, there’s a decent atmosphere inside.

Not Seminyak Nightlife, But Not Far – FINNS Beach Club
4. FINNS Beach Club
FINNS is the best beach club in the world, and given that Canggu is a quick drive from Seminyak (it’s super cheap with the local ride-hailing apps), we’d recommend that you give it a try, at least once, if you’re staying in the area.
With multiple pools, bars and restaurants, and the best entertainment on the island. You just can’t go wrong at FINNS.

1. Mirror Lounge & Club
If you like the idea of partying in a Gothic Cathedral then this club has you covered.
It’s one of the biggest places in town and the party goes on nearly all night long.

2. Red Ruby Club Bali
It’s sort of a nightclub, and it’s one of the best places in Seminyak for house music.
Red Ruby is one of the big stops on the Seminyak nightlife circuit, and the outdoor terrace here is a really nice touch.

Indonesia may not be famous for its gay friendly spots but there are a pair of them in Seminyak.

2. Sling Bar @ Double Six Luxury Hotel
If you want elegant cocktails in a colonial-style setting, then you might want to spend a night at the Sling Bar at Double Six.
It’s a speakeasy-style setting, which is above the Plantation Grill (go up the spiral staircase), and it’s open to anyone who wants to enjoy something a cut above the usual night out on the town.

3. Motel Mexicola
Mexicola is such a big deal to Bali’s nightlife scene that there are now two of them, one in Seminyak and one in Canggu. Though it doesn’t really matter which of them you visit.
Think tequila, Mexican food, a late-night party and a very friendly and risque vibe, and you’ve got Motel Mexicola down to a “T”. It’s almost a Seminyak rite of passage to spend at least one night in this popular place.

4. Double Six Luxury Hotel Rooftop
If you’re in the mood for an elegant sunset view followed by some casual drinks and a great food menu, you can’t go wrong with this excellent rooftop bar.
The lounge pods are some of the coolest seating that you can find in Seminyak. Just be warned, this is a very pricey venue, so don’t come here on a tight budget.

5. Above Rooftop Lounge & Bar @ Four Points by Sheraton Seminyak
This relaxed and open terraced bar is absolutely lovely to look at, and we like to come here on date nights or with a crowd that we want to impress a little.
Apart from looking great in your Instagram feed, it also has an excellent sunset afternoon tea, which gets the evening off to a classy and refined start. Then, there’s live entertainment until closing time to look forward to.

Da Maria is part restaurant and part nightclub and in the early part of the evening, they can offer a tasty Italian menu that puts most places on Eat Street to shame.
After that, they clear the floor, and it’s time for a major party night out. We like the disco balls as much as the cocktails on a night at Da Maria.

7. Red Carpet Champagne Bar
If you love your champers, you’re going to love Red Carpet. It’s the place to drink bubbles.
They also throw in some nice free canapes every 15 minutes to keep things interesting.

8. KUUKI Rooftop Bar @ U Paasha Seminyak Hotel
KUUKI has just been completely redesigned, and it’s still a super swanky rooftop bar which delivers excellent food and cocktails.
It’s super easy to walk into this bar without a reservation as nobody seems to know it’s there, which is a bit of a shame.

9. Mixwell (Gay Friendly)
This gay club is super popular, and it’s famous for its incredible drag performances. There are also some attractive chaps dancing on the stage to keep you in the mood for a party.
Mixwell is a very camp night out in Seminyak, and if that’s your vibe, there’s nowhere else quite like it in the archipelago.

10. The Orchard Bar & Restaurant
If you love live music, the best place to hear a band is The Orchard Bar. They play Britpop covers all night long, and they’re very good at it.
They also do a mean Toblerone martini, which may be our favourite drink in Bali, particularly during happy hour when it’s buy one, get one free (and happy hour lasts most of the night in this part of Seminyak).
