If you go to Bali and don’t go to, at least, one beach club on your trip, you’ve missed out on an amazing tourist experience that has been very much pioneered here on this tropical island.
However, we can understand that if it’s your first time at a beach club, you might be put off by entrance fees and the requirement to spend a minimum amount of money. After all, what if you don’t like the place you visit?
Well, we’ve got some good news for you! We’ve rounded up 25 of the best beach clubs on the island for you without an entrance fee and with some seating that doesn’t require a minimum spend!
So, go crazy and push the boat out a little and visit a beach club in Bali today and see how awesome they can be!
A Bit About Entrance Fees And Minimum Spend In Bali Beach Clubs
We are fiercely against entrance fee requirements at beach clubs in Bali. There’s just no excuse for them.
You can walk into a pub or restaurant without paying to get in, you should be able to check out any of the beach clubs in Bali without having to pay to walk through the door.
We consider the entrance fee to be more onerous than a minimum spend as it often gets you nothing more than the right to walk through the door.
None of the best beach clubs on this list charge an entrance fee as paying entrance fees won’t save you any money.
However, when it comes to a minimum spend, things are a bit different.
Beach clubs are in business and that means they need to try and make money. The minimum spend requirement, usually, only applies to certain seating within the venue, not to all of fit.
And as long as the minimum spend doesn’t apply to all seats within a venue, the beach club is eligible for this list.
There are a very few beach clubs in Bali with no minimum spend seating of any kind, but this usually only applies to very small clubs in expensive hotels and to clubs that are more “beach bar” than “beach club”.

FINNS Beach Club
FINNS is much more than a charming little beach club by the sea. It’s the biggest and best beach club in Bali.
With more than one gorgeous pool overlooking the Indian Ocean with swim-up bars, walk-up bars, restaurants, and incredible entertainment from local and international DJs every day of the week, FINNS is a place you simply can’t miss out on.
Best of all, the island’s best beach club has no entrance fee and plenty of seating at the bars and restaurants with no minimum spend attached to it!

You can get into Potato Head for free, most of the time. There is a window around sunset when they charge, so get there early – and they also have seats where you won’t be required to commit to a minimum spend.

Suka is a lovely little spot in Seminyak and something of a hidden gem as it’s only recently opened its doors to the public.

Azure Beach Restaurant
If you’re on your way out of Bali, Azure Beach Club near the airport makes good sense for a quick stop-off on the way.
There are no spending requirements at all here and no entry fees. However, it can get super busy at times, so booking in advance makes sense.

Woobar Bali
Woobar is one of Bali’s priciest clubs and you may not save a lot of money by dodging entry charges and spending requirements here.
This club is attached to an upmarket hotel and you will find that the costs on the menu are on the highest end of what you can spend in Bali.
Address: Jalan Petitenget Seminyak, Kerobokan Kelod, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361

Single Fin Bali
This clifftop place in Uluwatu has plenty of seats and no spending requirements.
Sadly, Single Fin also gets way too busy for our tastes around sunset which interrupts the views and completely changes the vibe.
Address: Uluwatu, Pantai Suluban, Jl. Labuansait, Pecatu, Kec. Kuta Sel., Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia
Online: Single Fin
Suku Beach Club
This lovely little place is also on Nusa Ceningnan and has seating at the bar you can use without committing to spending a minimum amount.
We thought the pool area and food were really good at Suku Beach Club, given how remote this club is from the mainland.
Address: Nusa Ceningan, Jl. Sarang Burung, Dusun Batu, Melawang, Kabupaten Klungkung, Bali 80771, Indonesia
Online: Suku
Kayu Kayu Beach Front
This is more of a restaurant than a fully stocked-out club, but in North Bali there aren’t many choices.
Not only do you dodge a minimum spending requirement at Kayu Kayu Beach Front but you get the chance to eat some of the best Balinese food on the island.
Address: Jl. Singaraja-Amlapura, Tembok, Kec. Tejakula, Kabupaten Buleleng, Bali 81173, Indonesia

The Beach Club @ Courtyard by Marriott
You don’t need to stay at this hotel to use the club, but it does help as it’s a tiny place and hotel guests always get priority.
The food and service at The Beach Club might make it worth the effort of getting up early to secure a seat, though. And there is no spending requirement or entry fee throughout.
Address: Peninsula Beach, Nusa Dua, Benoa, South Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali 80363, Indonesia

The Lawn
With a lovely view of the ocean and free access to the bar area, the Lawn is a pleasant spot to check out.
Sadly, we thought their cocktails were a bit on the weak side when compared to their price, though.
Address: Jl. Pura Dalem, Canggu, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia
Online: The Lawn
Minoo Beach Club
This club is in a beautiful part of the island and has incredible views.
The downside is that they blast cheesy techno, all day, every day around the pool at Minoo Beach Club.
But they don’t charge an entry fee or require minimum spending but, they do have a fairly pricey menu.
Address: Pantai Melasti Jl. Pengayutan, Ungasan, South Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali 80361, Indonesia

FAQS
Are Beach Clubs In Bali Worth It?
Yes, we think beach clubs in Bali are very much worth it, that’s why we built this website. A great club like FINNS will provide entertainment, amazing food and drink, incredible service and more.
They say that 1 in 8 people who visit Bali will visit FINNS. It’s not for nothing.
However, you may find that your beach club experience varies and that places like Sandy Bay Beach Club, Vue Beach Club, Mari Beach Club, Mano Beach House, Keramas Beach Club, Ulu Cliff House, etc. offer a very different Bali Beach Club experience than the top clubs do.
Is It Free To Enter FINNS Beach Club?
Yes, it’s free to enter FINNS Beach Club. There is no entrance fee and while some seating does attract a minimum spend requirement, you will find you can sit in any of their bars and restaurants without a minimum spend.
That means you can enjoy this stunning beach club for the price of a single drink or food. So, why not enjoy the most exciting spot by the Indian Ocean in Bali and enjoy a cocktail at sunset?
Does Potato Head Beach Club Have a Minimum Spend?
Potato Head Beach Club has a minimum spend on its most comfortable seating which is inline with the minimum spend policy at most of the best beach clubs here on the island.
It also has an entrance fee for a period of time around sunset each day, which means that you will want to arrive at this beach club early in the day if you want to grab a seat and only pay for food and drinks.
What Is The Minimum Spend At Ku De Ta?
Ku De Ta has plenty of seating where there is no minimum spend required.
It also has daybeds by the pool which require a minimum spend of 1 million IDR on Monday or Tuesday and 2 million IDR for the rest of the week. These beds seat up to 3 people and this minimum spend isn’t unreasonable for a comfy seat by the pool at Bali’s oldest beach club.
Final Thoughts On Beach Clubs In Bali With No Minimum Spend
If you want to keep away from places with a minimum spend, you should avoid Melasti Beach in Ungasan where many of the beach clubs have very high spend criteria and many also charge entry fees on top of that!
Instead, we’d recommend that you go to FINNS and see what it’s like at the “world’s best beach club”. We think most people will see what’s on offer and then want to commit to a daybed at another date.
If you enjoy cocktails whilst sitting by a sandy bay on this lively party island, you really can’t beat a spot on a poolside sofa at a beach club.
